For this event, “Toko & Ruang Serbaguna Swara Pembangunan” organises a series of workshops on how to make carpets from t-shirts in the context of the group exhibition Bodies of Power/Power for Bodies. Let’s sit together and learn to make knitted rugs.
The workshops are free of charge, but we ask you to bring a minimum of 3 t-shirts and a pair of scissors with you. The second workshop will be held in Temon, Kulonprogo (exact date to be announced). It is meant to support the citizens that have been affected by NYIA (the new airport development in Yogyakarta) to become stronger and independent.
