In this two-part Speculation Crash Course, we will try to use speculation as a way to create a collective form of imagination. On the first day, we will explore artist Natasha Tontey’s use of speculation in her project ALMANAK, currently on show at Cemeti, and organise a series of “speculative walks”, which we will subsequently summarize in a list of keywords. These key words will function as material for writing our personal speculations. On the second and last day, we will try to combine our personal speculations into one collective work.
